NEW CLASSES STARTING IN JAN 2020 - REGISTRATION OPEN SOON
MONDAYS at The Dance Centre
TUESDAYS at Douglas Park
WEDNESDAYS at Beautmont Studios
WHAT TO WEAR
Work out clothes are great. No skirt is needed. This way I can correct leg lines.
If you don't have flamenco shoes we recommend a low thick stable heal with a strap. You should feel secure and the shoe should cover the whole foot. Ankle boots can also work.
HOW TO REGISTER
To register email us a request stating which class you would like to join, as well as you chosen payment option. To complete your registration and guarantee enrolment, we must receive your payment before the class starts.
For payment you can either;
-send an e-transfer to
(Take note a service free will be charged. Around $1.50)
-bring a cheque made out to Maria Avila to the first class
-bring cash to the first class
Reimbursements for missed classes are not allowed, however students are welcome to drop into another Maria Avila Flamenco class at Beaumont Studios to make up any missed classes.
Make-up classes cannot be carried over to another term.
Note- for any class to run there needs to be a minimum enrolment of 6 students enrolled. If for any reason the class does not meet this requirement you will be refunded for classes not taken.
The first class of any course will always run so that we can see how many students will be enrolled.
Class rate will be pro rated if you are interested in joining halfway through the term.
"Maria is a phenomenal teacher. She's been able to deconstruct the structure of a Buleria so that it doesn't feel so intimidating. Thanks to her warm yet informative approach, I am well on my way to finally understanding how to put together a Buleria." A.K. - Flamenco Student
"Maria always knows the exact feedback to give to improve my dancing. She is the flamenco whisperer!" A.K. - Flamenco Student
"Maria creates a safe and warm environment so it is comfortable to try new things and see what works. I am not scared to "look bad" or make mistakes in her class because she turns those moments into opportunities for learning and growth." A.K. - Flamenco Student
